Fundraiser Event Details

During this special fundraising event, I will be donating 20% of gross sales from noon ET on Friday, September 13 through midnight ET on Tuesday, September 17 to the Xan Korman Legacy Project. You can learn more about Xan and the memorial fund here.

My husband and I created this fund after Xan, our only child, was killed in a drive-by-shooting in August 2021. Xan was selfless and had so positively impacted everyone he met, even though he was only 20 years old. This fund will help so many others who share Xan’s passions:

  • Photography and photojournalism through the National Press Photographers Foundation
  • Racial and social justice through Central Scholarship of Maryland
  • Anti-gun violence through The Unbreakable Organization
  • Organ donation through Infinite Legacy (Xan was an organ donor and was able to donate his organs and tissues)
  • Butler University where we have endowed a scholarship

This fundraiser will start on September 13, which would have been Xan's 24th birthday. This is always a difficult time for me. And one of the things that helps me through it is the opportunity to pay it forward. I can’t think of anything I’d rather do than make a huge donation based on your purchases!

Giveaway #1

The first 4 people to make a purchase when the sale starts at noon ET on Friday will receive a randomly chosen taste of Norway as my FREE GIFT to you! Giveaway #2

The first 3 orders over $50 will receive a FREE iridescent pen with a "diamond" on the top. They remind me of the changing colors and sparkles of dichroic jewelry so they seemed like a great choice for a giveaway. I got these at a fun store in Copenhagen. Giveaway #3

After the sale ends on Tuesday, I will ​randomly pick 3 orders ​made during that time and give those people one of three FREE prizes shown below!!  

The first order picked will receive this this wonderful aqua ripple dichroic glass necklace with so much depth (including an 18" sterling silver chain). They will also get this beautiful blue and white bud vase from Denmark. 

 

 

The second order picked will receive this this wonderful pink and gold dichroic glass necklace full of twist and turns (including an 18" sterling silver chain). They will also get this pretty floral box with notepaper inside from the Netherlands (it was a stop on the way home from Scandinavia).

 

The third order picked will receive this this wonderful bright red necklace with gold and black accents (including a16-18" adjustable gold filled chain.) They will also get this Swedish dishcloth from Stockholm. They are made by Halvdan Arvidssons, founded in 1949, and still run by the same family. Their fabrics are all produced in Europe and certified by Oeko-Tex 100 meaning they are free from harmful chemicals. These cloths are designed to absorb like a sponge and wipe like a cloth. They replace ordinary paper towels and sponges. This design features the Swedish wooden horse, known as Dala. These carved horses were a source of income for families starting in the 17th century and are now consider an authentic symbol of Sweden. So you have something to pretty up your kitchen!
